Now the problem I found.. took the battery and air filter out, but also needed to remove the inlet manifold to actually get at the starter motor. Eventually got all the manifold nuts free, and on this model didn’t need to get the fuel rail loose separately but.. there wasn’t actually enough space at the back to get the inlet manifold out, it kept hitting the bulk head.. 207 starting and electrical problems. After lots of trawling through this excellent site and learning a lot about Peugeot wiring diagrams, PP2000 etc.. I live in Stroud and about 5 weeks ago went to Nottingham and bought 2008 1.6 90bhp HDI Peugeot 207, 102000 miles, nice and shiny. Test drove fine (maybe a bit smokey), drove back from Notts.
